At Sunset Behavioral Health, self-pay psychiatric care is simple and predictable.

Start with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, then choose the payment option that works best for you: $149 month-to-month membership or $149 per follow-up visit with Pay-As-You-Go care.

Care is provided virtually throughout Florida for eligible patients.

Start Here — $199

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

Your self-pay care begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation for $199.

After your initial evaluation, you can choose how you would like to continue your care.

Option 1: Mental Health Membership — $149/Month

Choose our month-to-month membership if you prefer predictable monthly pricing for ongoing psychiatric care.

Your membership begins at your 2-week follow-up and is $149 per month.

Your Membership Includes:

✔️ Psychiatric follow-up care

✔️ Medication management and medication adjustments when clinically appropriate

✔️ Supportive, solution-focused therapeutic care integrated into psychiatric visits

✔️ Secure patient portal messaging for non-urgent questions and care coordination

✔️ Priority scheduling based on availability

✔️ Continuity of care with the same psychiatric provider

✔️ Convenient telehealth appointments throughout Florida

No long-term contract. Your membership is month-to-month.

If you have no visits for 3 consecutive months, your membership will restart with a $199 comprehensive psychiatric evaluation when you return to care.

Option 2: Pay-As-You-Go — $149 Per Follow-Up Visit

Don't want a monthly membership?

Choose Pay-As-You-Go and pay $149 for each psychiatric follow-up visit.

There is no monthly membership fee and no long-term commitment.

You simply pay for your visit when you need ongoing psychiatric follow-up care.

Both options begin with the $199 comprehensive psychiatric evaluation.

Documentation & Letters

Documentation and letters may be available to established patients for an additional fee when clinically appropriate.

Eligibility requirements and additional fees may apply. Letters, forms, and other documentation are not guaranteed and are subject to the provider's clinical judgment.

Need a Superbill?

Self-pay patients with eligible out-of-network insurance benefits may request a superbill after services are rendered.

A superbill contains information you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed by Sunset Behavioral Health.

Important Self-Pay Information

The Sunset Behavioral Health Mental Health Membership and Pay-As-You-Go options are not health insurance and do not replace health insurance.

Patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or other government healthcare programs may be subject to separate federal and program-specific billing requirements.

Please contact Sunset Behavioral Health before choosing a self-pay option if you participate in a government healthcare program.
